What event drone coverage delivers

Aerial event footage establishes scale, captures arrival moments and crowd reveals that ground cameras can’t reach, and creates the title-sequence and transition shots that elevate an event recap from documentation to brand asset. For weddings, drone work captures the ceremony location reveal, the post-ceremony portrait moments, and the venue exteriors at golden hour. For corporate events, it covers arrival sequences, venue scale, and the breakout-space movement that defines event energy.

Where aerial event coverage works best

Outdoor wedding ceremonies and tented receptions. Corporate events at venues with significant exterior footprints — Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, the South Loop pavilions. Fundraising galas at outdoor estates, country clubs, and rooftop venues in Chicago, Evanston, Naperville, and across the suburbs. Festivals, public art unveilings, and outdoor brand activations. Indoor-only events generally don’t benefit from drone work — we’ll tell you that upfront.

FAA Part 107 + airspace coordination

Wedding and event drone work in Chicagoland often crosses controlled airspace — O’Hare’s LAANC zone covers most of the North and Northwest Suburbs, Midway’s zone covers the Southwest. We file LAANC authorizations as part of pre-production and coordinate altitude limits with the venue. Insurance ($1M aviation liability) is provided with documentation as needed.

Coordinating with your ground crew

Drone and ground crews work as a single team — radio communication, planned hand-offs, and a clear shot list before the event starts. We integrate with your wedding videographer, your corporate event production company, or our own event videography crew if booking both services through us. Frequently paired with real estate aerial work for venue marketing post-event.
