Cicero as a production environment

Cicero is one of the most densely populated towns in Illinois and one of the most diverse — a deeply Mexican-American community with a working-class commercial identity that runs along Cermak, Cicero Avenue, and Roosevelt Road. Production here serves a mix of restaurants, service businesses, contractors, churches, and community organizations that often haven’t had video work done well before.

What we shoot in Cicero

Cicero production work covers brand films for restaurants, panaderías, mercados, and family businesses across Cermak and Cicero Avenue; commercial video for contractors, auto service businesses, and trades; documentary work for community organizations, nonprofits, and faith communities; and event coverage for quinceañeras, weddings, and major community celebrations.

Bilingual production

Much of Cicero’s commercial market is bilingual or Spanish-first. Production planning, on-camera direction, and final deliverables can be produced in English, Spanish, or both. Subtitling and dubbing for the same source footage is built into the production workflow when needed.

Working with first-time clients

Many Cicero brands are commissioning their first video work. We treat that as a strength — fewer expectations to break, more room to find what the brand actually wants to look like on camera. Production pace is intentionally slower for first projects so the client can see and shape the work as it develops. Cicero work often extends to Berwyn next door or back into Chicago‘s west-side neighborhoods on the same production day.
