Chicago is the home market — every neighborhood, every season. Studio crews work the Loop, River North, West Loop, Logan Square, Pilsen, Bronzeville, and the lakefront. Setup happens on freight elevators in the West Loop, in walk-ups in Lincoln Park, on rooftops with the skyline behind, and inside historic brick spaces in Wicker Park. The gear, the lighting, and the production planning are calibrated to the realities of the city.

What we shoot in the city

Chicago production work spans commercial video production for consumer brands, restaurants, and agencies; brand films for venues and creative shops; and documentary and editorial work for foundations and civic institutions. Event coverage for galas, conferences, and corporate launches happens at McCormick Place, Navy Pier, the Field Museum, and downtown hotels. Real estate and architectural cinematography for developers in River North, Streeterville, the South Loop, and the North Side. Aerial work where airspace permits, with FAA Part 107 licensing on file.

Chicago production logistics

Permits, parking, and load-in are factored into every Chicago shoot — production planning starts at the curb, not the call sheet. We handle CDOT permits for street-level work, coordinate with Chicago Film Office for sensitive locations, and plan crew transport so equipment arrives intact and on time. Power, sound, and crowd control on busy commercial blocks require local knowledge that comes from years working the city.

Beyond city limits

Production work often extends to nearby cities — same crew, same gear, one production day across multiple locations. Frequent extensions include Evanston to the north, Berwyn and Cicero on the west side, and Skokie for the North Shore corridor. Travel costs stay manageable when we plan the route as part of pre-production.
